Day 378

Feeling great – slight itch and dry spots but nothing that causes too much discomfort or worry! Hitting the gym recently and losing a bit of bulk too. Keep it up everyone and thanks for stopping by

Day 378

Day 330

Feeling good – coming up to a year! Few little red spots from time to time but nothing to worry about. Routine remains the same – quick ACV:Water spritz after a shower on the face (not always) and jojoba oil when shaving. Other than that things are normal, diet, sports, drinking, socialising, pushing myself to get out of my comfort zone. Went on a short interstate holiday recently and stayed at AirBnB – feel like a different person to when I used steroids. Seriously, the confidence and liberation I feel within myself is amazing. I can’t describe it – no longer a slave to medication, it’s incredible. I layer has literally been peeled off. And I’m still getting fat but fuck it! Been a good summer – here’s to continued healing to you all. Thanks for stopping by and feel free to drop me a line or follow me on Instagram @eczemacism

Day 330

Day 294

A few sunburnt patches on my knees and some hives appeared around my armpits just after a dip in the ocean – it’s been pretty hot recently so think it may be some sort of heat rash. Seems to go down after a while so no dramas.

Recent routine is just jojoba oil to shave, ACV on my face and any small heat rash areas, other than that it’s normal living. Eat, drink (alcohol included) whatever I like without any reactions – only slightly drier after massive nights on booze. Things are pretty good, hope it lasts, always worried about another major flare though. Also put on quite a bit of weight recently which is awesome, will start hitting the gym next year to tone up, but the extra kgs are very welcome!

Thanks for stopping by and let me know if you have any questions.

DAY 1 TO 216 – CHRONOLOGICAL TIMELINE

TSW Timeline (PDF)

The changes are amazing – in month 8 and the journey has been incredible in the worst and best possible ways. These days life is pretty busy, my skin isn’t on my mind all the time and the good days are the best they have been in over 15 years – the bad days are just bad days and not too bad at all to be honest. I have itchy days but rarely consecutive itchy days. I take half a phenergan tablet on the itchy days just before bed and that usually works for me. The only skin routine now is ACV spray (diluted 1:1 with water) on my face and neck after a shower followed by pure jojoba oil. That’s it. Also drinking kombucha twice a day and cod liver oil before bed. Diet is normal, no restrictions. I do find that I’m a bit drier than usual after a big night on alcohol but I probably would be without being in tsw. Good luck out there – let me know if you have any questions and you can always follow me on Instagram @eczemacism
